We ALL Count!

You matter. Your family matters. Your community matters. The 2020 Census: We ALL Count will lay out how the census process works and how important it is to participate!

The census is much more than counting people. It's about gathering huge amounts of information in various categories, and filtering it in many different ways. For example, how many people of a certain age, in a certain location (state, county, city, zip code) are African American females with college degrees?

The data is also used to determine how federal resources are spent, and how many people each state will have apportioned to the House of Representatives.

In addition to the traditional census, a series of surveys called the American Community Surveys collect more detailed information related to a variety of categories: business and industry, employment field, education, etc.
